Dr. Mike Dugan is the Meat Lipid Scientist at AAFC-Lacombe (1998-present)

Dr. Payam Vahmani, Iran/Halifax, AAFC- Peer Review funded NSERC Fellow (2013-2016), currently an ALMA funded Biologist (2016-).

Dr. Cletos Mapiye, Zimbabwe/South Africa/Ruwanda, was an ALMA Funded NSERC Fellow in the Meat Lipid Lab (2011-2014), and is currently a Senior Lecturer at Stellenbosch University in South Africa.

Dr. Tyler Turner, Saskatchewan/Sweden, was an NSERC Fellow in the Meat Lipid Lab (2011-2013), currently working at Josera GmbH & Co., Germany.

Dr. Jennifer Aahus , is the Meat Quality scientist at AAFC-Lacombe, a long time Lipid Network collaborator (1996-present)

Dr. Vern Baron, is a scientist at AAFC-Lacombe specializing in Forage and Beef Production and Management. Vern is a member of the Western Forage Beef Group.

Dr. John Basarab, is a Beef Cattle Production and Management scientist with Alberta Agriculture and Rural Development. John is co-located at the Lacombe Research Centre and is a member of the Western Forage Beef Group.

Dr. Hushton Block, is a Beef Cattle Prodution and Management scientist at AAFC-Lacombe. Hushton  was recently relocated from AAFC-Brandon, and is a key collaborator helping to develop feeding systems to enriche PUFA-biohydrogenation products in beef.

Dr. John Church, is an Associate Professor at Thompson Rivers University as well as the British Columbia Regional Innovation Chair in Cattle Indutstry Sustainability

Dr. Leluo Guan, is and Associate Professor in the Dept of Agricultural Food and Nutritional Sciences at the University of Alberta conducting research on functional genomics and microbiology. 

Dr. Manuel Juárezis the Livestock Phenomics scientist at AAFC-Lacombe, and was a shared PDF in the Meat Quality and Meat Lipid Labs at AAFC-Lacombe (2008-2010)

Dr. Oscar Lopez-Campos, is the Carcass Merit and Market Competitiveness Scientist at AAFC-Lacombe.

Dr. Jon Meadus, is a Molecular Biologist at AAFC-Lacombe. Jon is a long time Lipid Network collaborator working on long chain omega-3 fatty acids in pigs, and gene expression responses to dietary lipids in pigs and cattle.

Dr. Tim McAllister ia a Principle Research Scientist with AAFC-Lethbridge. Tim runs a large and diverse research program covering multiple aspects of rumen microbiolgy and nutrition.  

Dr. Renata Nassu, Meat Quality and Sensory scientist at EMBRAPA (Brazil). Renata was a Visiting Scientist in the Meat Lipid Lab (2010-2011)

Dr. Nuria Prieto, is a Research Associate at the University of Alberta co-located at AAFC-Lacombe and collaborates on a number of Lipid Network projects.

Dr. Spencer Proctor, is a Professor of Human Nutrition at the University of Alberta and Director of the Metabolic and Cardiovascular Diseases Laboratory with expertise in chronic diseases and dietary lipid metabolism. Spencer is a key network collaborator helping to assess the bio-activity of beef fatty acids and their impact on the Metabolic Syndrome. 

Dr. Rymer Tullio, Meat Quality and Beef Production scientist at EMBRAPA (Brazil). Rymer was a Visiting Scientist in the Meat Lipid Lab (2012-2013)

Dr. Bethany Uttaro, is the Meat Bioinstrumentation scientist at AAFC-Lacombe. Bethany leads Lipid Network efforts to explore rapids methods for measuring meat fatty acid composition.

David Rolland, B.Sc., Estella Ximius (2001-present) is the Meat Lipid Lab Lead Technician.

Pierre Lepage, B.Sc. (2013-2015). Retired.

T.J. Adduono, B.Sc. (2009-2010), now a CFIA inspector in High River AB.

Dr. Kelvin Lien worked in the Meat Lipid Lab (1998-2001), and now holds a position at the AFNS Dept at the University of Alberta.
